2015 Mens Fashion Trends for Fall/Winter on the runway

Hello guys!
Todays post is just for you and I must say that I'm particulary excited. When I was searching the trends for this season I came across some great fashion trends that I could incorporate in my ow wardrobe.

As the last post this one has some information taken from VOGUE and GQ!

Any color as long it has grey

The grey is the color of the season and on the runways we could see all grey looks for men. The stylists/designers decided to create a color pallette inspired on every single grey color.

The only Coat you'll need

Similar to the female trend across the runway we can see that mens are encouraged to wear only one type of coat. Wherever you look this season shapes where lossening up. We could see single or double breasted coats all over the runway, but besides this the most popular coat of the season is made of whool and has soft sholder that give the impression that the coat falls more sloutchy, giving an oversized vibe.

Layer-up your knits

This season it seems the greatest tip to make you feel warm and cosy is to layer up your sweaters. The stylists say that you can mix diferent materials and create great looks with them. One tip is to pile your jumpers one on top of the other but you can also do it on a easiest way: "invest in a thinb marino wool rollneck and slip it under your thicker knits" (GQ)!

Square patterns and patches

As you can see this is a big hit for both genders (male and female). All over the runway you could see that stylist/designers took a bet on square and patched clothes, as well as bright color on this trendy pieces. I can say that on woman I hate this trend but I love it on mens, particulary after seeing this too looks above!

Supersized pockets

This a great new for guys who hate to walk around with bags, you finnaly have a shirt or a coat with oversized pockets where you can fit almost everything you need.

Any green goes

"While grey takes the spotlight of the shows, green beat off the stiff competition from orange, pnk and blue to second most popular color on the catwalks." Green is the second color on the palette for this season. All green looks are also a big hit and if you want to make the difference you can match for example a green shirt with grey pants.

Shearling with everything
´

"It's a classic menswear material and with the seventies vibe running throughout the shows it was hardly surprising that shearling made a proeminent apperance on this season catwalk (GQ) " The shearling ( lamb skin/ pele de carneiro) was brought to the catwalk in a different way because before it was only seen on coats but onthis season shows we could saw it at tennis and other pieces.

Baggy trousers

The baggy trousers are back and they already turned a big hot piece to have on your closet! The most popular cuts are the high waisted formal pants. You can dress them up with a collar shirt and a formal jacket or dress them down with a simple t-shirt and a faux leather jacket. The possibility of looks you can do with this peace are endless.

The One Pice Suit / Jumpsuit

The jumpsuits where a big hit on Womens Spring/Summer collections this year but this season they are also a big hit on Menswear. Inspired on the times when Winston Churchill was president and the mens of the warmy used to wear jumpsuits for their professions, the stylist/designers decided to bring them to the catwalk this Fall. In my opinion, depending how they're styled, this piece can make an outfit pop.

Velvet pieces and fur touches are also a big hit.
I seriously hope you enjoyed this post and I expect your opinion on the comments below!

Xoxo,
Catarina A.
